Insulation
Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) is used in a number of power cables because it has good water resistance and excellent electrical properties. Insulation in cables ensures that conductors and other metal substances do not come into contact with each other.
Armour
Steel wire or tape armour provides mechanical protection, which means the cable can withstand higher stresses, be buried directly and used in external or underground projects. The armouring is normally connected to earth and can sometimes be used as the circuit protective conductor ("earth wire") for the equipment supplied by cable.
Sheath
a black PVC sheath holds all components of the cable together and provides additional protection from external stresses.

* Allowable max. long-time operation temperature of cable conductor: 90°C
* Allowable Max. short circuit temperature of cable conductor (max. sustaining period not exceeding 5s): 250 °C
* Allowable Min. bending radius when laying cable, generally 20 times of the cable diameter for non-armoured cable, and 15 times of the cable diameter for armoured cable.

Application

The product is suitable for use in power distribution networks or fixed installation for industrial equipments with rated voltage up to and including 35kv.

   Max.permissible continuous operating temperature of conductor:90°C

   Max.short-circuit (5s Max.short-circuit duration) temperature of conductor shall not exceed 250°C

   The ambient temperature under installation shall not below 0°C 

   The bending radius of single-core cable shall not less than 20 times of the cable diameter

   The bending radius of the three-core cable shall not less than 15 times of the cable diameter
